NGC2835 is a 11.0mag bright spiral-galaxy (type SBc) in the constellation of Hydra.It apparent size is about 6.6´x 4.4´ with a real distance of 35 million light-years.
Inside this galaxy there are many star-formation-areas,all showing strong Ha-emissions.
NGC2835 was first seen by Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel in 1884.
