NGC 7424

NGC7424 is a faced-on SBc spiral galaxy with a a prominent central bar in the constellation of Grus.Its apparent brightness is 10.5mag with a size of 7.4´x 5.6´.The distance from earth is about 140 million light-years.It was discovered in 1834 by John Herschel.
