NGC1744 Spiral Galaxy in Lepus

NGC 1744 is a low surface brightness barred spiral galaxy of Type SBcd in the southern constellation Lepus.
It is situated at a distance of 27 million light-years and extends to a diameter of approx. 70.000 light-years.
