M 74 Galaxy in Pisces

M74 (NGC628) is a fine faced-on spiral galaxy in the constellation of Pisces with the apparent dimension of 9.5´x 10.5´ and a brightness of about 9.1mag.It has a very small surface brightness and is  therefore very difficult to detect in smaller telescopes.Its distance from earth is about 23 million light years and contains about 100 billion stars.

integration time: L R(Ha)GB (L=22x1200s, RGB=10x1200s each,Ha=5x2400s) , a total time of 21.6 hours
