NGC 7552 Galaxy in Grus

NGC 7552 is an infrared-luminous, nearly face-on, barred spiral galaxy at a redshift of = 0.0054 (∼ 20.4 Mpc) with a possibe active nucleus surrounded by a powerful circum-nuclear starburst ring.
It is part of the Grus-Quartett,an assembly of 4 relative bright galaxies  including NGC 7582, NGC 7590, NGC 7599.

Position: RA:23h 16m   Dekl. -42° 35′ 05,4″

 

LRGB (240-120-120-120 min) seeing 0.8-1.3 arc-sec.
