Longmore 5 Planetary Nebula in Centaurus

This large and complex Planetary Nebula at magnitude 12,5 extends to 2,5 arc-min. It was discovered by A. J. Longmore on a UK Schmidt plate in 1976.
It is showing an extremely faint circular Halo in the O-III band.
The outer halo around this planetary nebula was discovered by the Galactic Planetary Nebula Halo Survey (GPNHS) team in March 2014.
