Kronberger 63 Planetary Nebula in Orion
This extremely faint nebula also known as Medallion Nebula appears as a round shell measuring 6.5x6 arc-minutes. Its interior contains a spectacular series of crisscrossing filaments mainly emitting in OIII, some also barely visible in H-alpha. To produce this image a Ha-OIII bicolor image was overlayed with a RGB image.
