This SB(r)bc typed, nearly faced-on spiral galaxy can be found in the constellation of Cetus. With an apparent brightness of 11.6 mag it measures 3,5′ × 1,9′. In its arms there is active star formation.
NGC151 was fist seen by William Herschel in late 1785.
